Spring is on the way today at Meet Me on Main in Carmel

The City of Carmel begins a new three-year partnership with Allied Solutions this weekend as sponsor of many of the city’s events, including this month’s Meet Me on Main. The Saturday evening gallery walk will feature the love of art experienced in shades of Irish green, along with virtual interviews and a special online gallery of art to celebrate National Disability Awareness Month.

If you’re planning to venture out to Main Street, don’t forget to bring the kids to the Chocolate Café (43 W. Main St.) for the complimentary St. Patrick’s Day craft. This fun “to go” art craft will be available from 5 to 8:30 p.m., while supplies last.

You are still urged to wear a mask as you enter galleries and stores or when you are walking in a crowded group. Please try to maintain proper physical distancing as well.

If you’re not quite ready to venture out to an event, but still want to experience the District, you can tune in to the Carmel Arts & Design District’s Facebook page for virtual interviews with Matt Nichols from Carmel Chocolate Café, John Einsfeld with SubZero, and Diane Cannon with Juniper on Main. Interviews will be streamed at 5 p.m. on the District’s Facebook page.

Celebrate National Disability Awareness Month virtually. Visit the Carmel Arts Council’s website to view the amazing artists’ contributions to the virtual gallery, including “Wonder,” by the artist Emily, shown above.

The Meet Me on Main monthly giveaway will be held on the District’s Facebook page. Each month, three $100 gift cards to businesses in the District are given away. Please visit the Arts & Design Facebook page for more information. There is no purchase necessary to participate.
