Noblesville finished its regular season on a winning note Tuesday, beating Mississinewa 48-44 in a road game.
The two teams were tied at 14-14 at the end of the first quarter, but the Millers jumped ahead in the second period, holding the Indians to six points and taking a 25-20 halftime lead. Mississinewa cut the Noblesville lead to 35-32 after three quarters, but the Millers held on in the fourth for the win.
E.J. Smith scored 15 points for Noblesville, with Luke Almodovar adding 11. Josh Durham pulled six rebounds and Noah Harris blocked two shots.
The Millers are 11-10 and will play in Sectional 8 at Carmel next week. Noblesville will take on the Westfield-Zionsville winner next Friday (March 5) in the semi-finals.
