The ‘Hawks led 28-19 after three quarters; Cayden Hunter had five points. The Oracles made a big comeback in the fourth, but the Blackhawks were able to hang on for the win.
Moistner scored 10 points and collected six rebounds, while Corbin Murray had five rebounds.
The Blackhawks are 4-3 in conference play and 11-7 overall. Sheridan will travel to Seymour this afternoon for a 2:30 p.m. varsity start.
“That game’s all about going into a great environment, playing a team that’s a little bit stronger and bigger than us, to prepare for the sectional, but it’s a game we can win as well,” said ‘Hawks coach Tod Windlan. “And that’s why we’re playing now.”
