Hamilton Southeastern dropped its Hoosier Crossroads Conference finale at Brownsburg on Friday, 60-42.
The Bulldogs led 18-14 after the first quarter, but the Royals cut that lead to 24-22 by halftime. But Brownsburg pulled away in the second half, holding a 37-28 advantage after three periods, then scoring 23 points in the fourth.
Vinny Buccilla scored 16 points for Southeastern, with Alex Totton scoring seven points and pulling seven rebounds.
The Royals finished HCC play at 4-3, tying with Zionsville for fourth place in the league. Southeastern is 10-9 overall and hosts Lawrence North on Tuesday.
