Due to Monday evening’s snowstorm, the City of Carmel residential trash and recycling service was suspended for Tuesday. Service will resume today and will run on a one-day delay for the rest of the week, ending with normal Friday service taking place on Saturday.
City officials indicated the delay was for the safety of its residents by not having to move carts in the ice and snow and to allow snowplows to have the maximum possible access to roads.
