Boys basketball: Greyhounds win at FW Carroll

Carmel picked up another victory on Saturday, beating Fort Wayne Carroll 43-34 on the road.
The Class 4A No. 2 Greyhounds led 8-7 after a tight first quarter, then took over in the second period, outscoring the Chargers 14-6 for a 22-13 halftime lead. Carmel then led 31-21 after three quarters.
Peter Suder scored 17 points for the ‘Hounds and also pulled seven rebounds. Charlie Williams added nine points in addition to seven rebounds and two blocked shots, while Sam Orme hit two 3-pointers on his way to eight points.
Carmel is 18-2 for the season and hosts Warren Central on Friday to finish Metropolitan Conference play for the season.
