Millers get home victory over Marauders

Noblesville picked up a nice win on Saturday afternoon, beating Mount Vernon 62-52 at The Mill.
The Millers led 16-11 after the first quarter and 30-23 at halftime. The Marauders cut into Noblesville’s lead slightly in the third period, but the Millers still led 41-35 at the end of the quarter, then clinched the game with a 21-point fourth period.
Noah Harris led Noblesville with 13 points and also pulled six rebounds. E.J. Smith and David Lloyd both made two 3-pointers on their way to 11 points each. Preston Roberts was a defensive force, collecting 10 rebounds and blocking three shots.
The Millers are 9-7 and play at Marion Tuesday.
