Noblesville picked up a hard-fought win at Connersville on Saturday night, coming back to beat the Spartans 44-43.
The Millers led 7-6 after the first quarter, but Connersville blasted back in the second period, scoring 20 points to take a 26-15 halftime lead. Noblesville began its own comeback in the third quarter, holding the Spartans to five points and getting within 31-29 by the end of the period. The Millers scored 15 points in the fourth, and that was enough to get them the victory.
Noah Harris scored 16 points, including two 3-pointers, to lead Noblesville. The Millers had seven different players score. Josh Durham added eight points and led the rebounds with six. E.J. Smith handed out five assists and made four steals, and joined Preston Roberts and Luke Almodovar in scoring five points.
The Millers are 6-5 with the win and go back on the road Friday, playing at Franklin Central in a Hoosier Crossroads Conference game.
