Laura Alerding, Christi Crosser and Stephanie Lambert were officially sworn in as new board members at the Jan. 12 Noblesville Schools Board of Trustees meeting.
Laura Alerding was elected to the school board in November 2020 and began serving in January 2021. She is the owner of a promotional products business, Creative Promotions at Work.
Alerding holds a degree from Ivy Tech and has volunteered with several local organizations, including Nickel Plate Arts, Hamilton County 4-H, Riverview Hospital Foundation, Habitat for Humanity and the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center. She has is an active election poll worker, precinct committeeman and treasurer of the Hamilton County Republican Women’s Club. She has two grown children, four adult stepchildren and 18 grandchildren with her husband Jim.
Aldering will serve on the following committees: Hamilton East Public Library, High Ability, Noblesville Redevelopment Commission, and Wellness.
Christi Crosser was elected to the school board in November 2020 and began serving in January 2021. She and her husband Craig own Nova 29, a property management company in downtown Noblesville.
Crosser attended Indiana University and has held leadership positions in the community with multiple organizations including: Noblesville Chamber of Commerce, Riverview Health Foundation, Meals on Wheels of Hamilton County, Prevail and the Crosser Family Foundation. She has also served with the Noblesville Redevelopment Commission, Noblesville Equity Advancement Team, Hamilton County Community Foundation Opportunity/Equity/Inclusion Committee, and the Boys and Girls Club of Noblesville. She is a 2019 graduate of the Noblesville Schools Miller Ambassadors program, has been a Noblesville resident for over 20 years and has two children who are recent graduates of Noblesville High School.
Crosser will serve on the following committees: Athletic Review, Diversity, and Safe Schools.
Stephanie Lambert was elected to the school board in November 2020 and began serving in January 2021. She is a former forensic DNA analyst with the Indiana State Police and former substitute teacher for Noblesville Schools.
Lamber holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from Indiana University-Bloomington and a master’s degree in forensic science from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. She has served as a tutor with Noblesville Youth Assistance, treasurer of the Noble Crossing Elementary PTO, representative on the Noblesville Schools Elementary Digital Learning committee, and board member of the Noblesville Marching Millers Band Boosters. She is also a 2019 graduate of the Noblesville Schools Miller Ambassadors program and volunteers with Hamilton County as a court-appointed special advocate. She and her husband Nate attend Northview Church and have lived in Noblesville for 10 years. They have three children, a sophomore at Noblesville High School, an eighth grader at Noblesville West Middle School and a fourth grader at Noble Crossing Elementary.
Lambert will serve on the following committees: Attendance Review, Noblesville Youth Sports Alliance, and Safe Schools.
