Girls golf: GC’s Pfefferkorn earns medalist honors at Shelbyville Invite

The Guerin Catholic girls golf team finished second at the 10-team Shelbyville Girls Golf Invitational, which took place Saturday at Bear Creek Golf Club.
Greensburg won the tournament with a score of 354, followed by the Golden Eagles with 358. Other teams in the top five were Mooresville 376, Heritage Christian 390 and Shelbyville 409.
Angelica Pfefferkorn was the individual medalist with a score of 79. Carly Hammons carded 85, followed by Mckayla Tallman 89, Hailey Brown 105 and Jenna Rust 118.
