Jack Dempsey Lawless, 84, of Noblesville, passed away on Monday, January 11, 2021 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on April 6, 1936 to Harvey and Nora (Knight) Lawless in Jamestown, Ky.
For 21 years, Jack worked for Noblesville Castings. He was a collector of fishing poles and knives and loved to fish and hunt. Jack also liked mushroom hunting. He was very easy-going and willing to help anyone.
Jack is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Marsha Lawless; son, Cecil (Lisa) Lawless; daughter, Debbie Passmore; grandchildren, Dempsey Lawless and Carol (Dusty) Ward; great-grandchildren, Shirley Ward and Skiler Ward; and sister, Loretta (Leonard) Wells.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughters, Theresa Lawless and Wilma Lawless; and his siblings, Hattie, Tina, Joe, Becky, Sally, Paul and Herbert.
Private family services will be held with burial at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville. Randall & Roberts Funeral Home has been entrusted with Jack’s care.
