After decades of enjoying his immense estate in Carmel, Jones has resided in Hawaii for the past few years. His estate sale, occurring from Sept. 14 to 17, will open the doors of his home, inviting the public to peruse a lifetime of collections and household furnishings.
The home, a 27,000 square-foot mansion built in the style of an English country manor, took seven years and $20 million to build. The home features a 33-foot high great room, an indoor tree house, a circular mahogany slide, a 25-foot long saltwater aquarium and an indoor basketball court. The home has been featured on many popular shows, including HGTV, Mega Mansions. It was even featured on MTV Cribs, winning ‘Home of the Decade.’ Season 17, Episode 1 of MTV Cribs, available on Amazon, shows the “Best Home Theater” and “House of the Decade” awards.
