Ronald Lee Hanna, 72, Noblesville, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at Riverview Health in Noblesville. He was born on September 15, 1948 to Kenneth and Lois (Morrow) Hanna in Noblesville.
Ron was a graduate of Noblesville High School, attended Vincennes University, and proudly served in the United States Army for three years in Panama. Most recently Ron worked for Carmel Clay Schools as a bus driver, and prior to that he worked for Firestone in Noblesville as a machinist, P.L. Porter in Westfield, and Stanley Security. Above all he was a pilot and loved to fly.
Ron was a sports fan of IU and the Colts, and a regular attendee of the Indy 500. More than anything, he loved supporting his children and grandchildren at their sporting events.
He is survived by his daughter, Kristi Orcutt; son, Matthew Hanna; stepdaughter, Kelli Bomkamp; grandchildren, Balin, Aiden, Liam, Trinity, Euan, Grace and Piper; sisters, Kathy Hancock and Marsha (Bob) Reynolds; and ex-spouses, Sherlyn Mark and Shirley Miracle.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Anita Parker, Karen Reddick and Forest Hanna.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Funeral Center, 1685 Westfield Road in Noblesville, with Rev. Dr. Brooks Barrick officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 17, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
