Noblesville hits chocolate, jazz trail tonight

Eighteen downtown Noblesville merchants and restaurants in conjunction with Noblesville Main Street will make up the 2017 Chocolate Trail, an annual event highlighting chocolate treats along with local shopping and dining.

Starting this evening at 5 p.m., shoppers can pick up a chocolate trail map at the Noblesville Main Street table, located on the northeast corner of the courthouse lawn. Then, shoppers can visit each location for chocolate treats and collect a stamp. Just before 9 p.m., shoppers can take their maps to the Main Street table to enter a drawing for prizes from participating locations. Shoppers who visit all locations and collect a stamp from each will be eligible for the grand prize drawing worth more than $350.

Participants are A Corner Cottage, Across The Pond, Bash Boutique, Blue Butterfly Furnishings, Caravan Classes, Karisma, Kiln Creations, Laudig Creations Photography, Lil Bloomers, Linden Tree, Little Gypsie Boutique, Logan Village Mall, Love’s Hangover, Old Picket Fence, Shine Yoga & Wellness Studio, Tanglez Hair Studio, The Hamilton Restaurant and Whimzy.

From 7 to 9 p.m. patrons can also enjoy the final concert of the year in the Music And All That Jazz series presented by Gaylor Electric and RZ Automation. This week features the David Hartman Band with an eclectic list of standards, fusion, rock, funk and original pieces. So bring your dancing shoes.

“This evening is a great way for us to wrap up the jazz series for the year and continue to promote the wonderful features of downtown Noblesville,” said Chris Owens, CEO of Noblesville Main Street. “We have expanded the Music and All That Jazz series this year with performances by various local talent and opportunities for some of our local students as well. We hope our community enjoys the activities planned for this First Friday event in September.”
