Millers beat Whiteland

Noblesville improved its record to 3-0 on Thursday, winning on the road at Whiteland 74-24.
The Class 4A No. 10 Millers led 32-10 at halftime. Four Noblesville players finished in double figures, led by Ashlynn Shade, who earned a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds, in addition to seven assists and six steals.
Jayla Jones added 13 points and collected seven rebounds, while Kaitlyn Shoemaker and Brooklyn Smitherman both scored 12 points. Smitherman also had nine rebounds and Shoemaker made six steals. Brooklyn Ely dished out five assists.
Noblesville returns to The Mill on Saturday to host 4A No. 9 Homestead. This game will tip off at 6 p.m.
