Submitted

Optimism has been the focus selected for the 2021 Instructional Cooking Classes curriculum presented by the Carmel-based A Cut Above.

Considering the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, A Cut Above carefully considered both the negative and positive effects to the food system. Ultimately, the curriculum for next year’s classes has been designed to deliver needed optimism, specifically by celebrating the amazement of food, strategic involvement of numerous local business partners and offering components that will stimulate needed enhancements. All classes are completely COVID-19 compliant and are available either in-person or virtually.

Even though every aspect of food has been significantly impacted by the pandemic, ultimately this critical nutritional support has remained primarily resilient simply by the amazement it demonstrates. This is what has led A Cut Above’s entire cooking class series for next year, with each class highlighting the significant optimism that food has contributed following the pandemic.

Beginning its thirteenth year in January 2021, A Cut Above’s Cooking Class Series delivers an immersive culinary experience that includes a two-hour, hands-on learning experience and a three-course chef-prepared meal. Classes are held at A Cut Above’s state-of-the-art Instructional Kitchen and Event Center, located at 12955 Old Meridian St., Suite 104, Carmel.
