Hamilton County Tourism (HCT) President & CEO Brenda Myers will serve as the featured speaker at the Thursday, Nov. 12 luncheon meeting of the Northern Hamilton County Chamber of Commerce. The meeting will take place from 11:15 a.m.to 1 p.m. at the Atlanta Shelter House, located at 131 W. Walton St., Atlanta.
Myers, who has been at the helm of the organization since 2005, will share the timely topic of tourism during a pandemic and the impact on local businesses, along with a few tips to surviving and even thriving during these times. In addition, she will share some of the creative initiatives HCT is undertaking to help.
Hamilton County Tourism, Inc. is a nonprofit, destination management organization that promotes tourism growth through strategic marketing, hospitality and development initiatives providing hospitality to more than four million visitors to Hamilton County each year.
The public is invited for this welcome opportunity to connect and learn more about this relevant topic and impact on everyone’s lives and local businesses. Event organizers are mindful of the times and will provide a safe and sanitary meeting space as well as practice social distancing etiquette.
