The Museum of 20th Century Warfare will host a Soldiers Haunt event as a part of Fort Harrison State Park’s Halloween Bash on Saturday, Oct. 31.
The event will feature reenactors and zombies portrayed by local volunteers and will begin at 7:30 p.m. Volunteers who wish to portray zombies can email the park naturalist at DAllison@dnr.IN.gov.
The bash also includes pumpkin painting, which will be from 5:30 to 7 p.m., and a Bat and Owl Prowl hike led by park naturalists at 8:30 p.m. All activities require advance registration, which can be completed on the park’s website at on.IN.gov/fortharrisonsp by going to the bottom of the page and finding the event listing.
The activities are free; however, the normal DNR entrance fee applies. For more information, please call the park Visitor Center at (317) 591-0122 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Fort Harrison State Park is at 6000 N. Post Road, Indianapolis, 46216.
