Steven Edward Todd

July 13, 1943 – October 25, 2020

Steven Edward Todd, 77, resident of Noblesville, as well as former New Castle resident, passed away on Sunday, October 25, 2020 at his residence following a brief illness. He was born on July 13, 1943 in New Castle and was the only child of the late George E. and Eula M. (Calhoun) Todd.

Steven was a 1961 graduate of New Castle Chrysler High School. He was employed by General Motors Guide Lamp Division, Anderson, and he retired from there in 1994.

He was a proud member of the Sulpher Springs Masonic Lodge 348 and Noblesville Masonic Lodge 57. He was also a member of the Murat Shrine and the Indianapolis Valley of the Scottish Rite.

Steven enjoyed traveling, cruising Monroe Reservoir on his pontoon boat, attending plays, concerts and auto shows, and watching various sporting and racing events. He also enjoyed hanging out in his garage tinkering, listening to his music, and sharing stories with friends and family either on the phone or when they dropped in for a visit.

He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Peggy (Lanam) Todd, Noblesville; and by his only daughter, Natalie (Todd) Lackner (Matthew), Fishers.

He is also survived by two step-daughters, Lynn (Lanam) Venable (Jonathan) and Cynthia (Lanam) Yang (Dr. Rong); five grandchildren, Mallory, Aaron, Ruth (Doriell), Kristen (Christopher) and Lauren (Christopher); and six great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jeremiah and Ruth Calhoun, Bertha Jane (Meadors) Calhoun, and William H. and Nettie (Williams) Todd of New Castle.

Masonic Rites and funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2020 and from noon to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
