Arcadia Fall Festival set for this weekend

The Arcadia Fall Festival is another first for 2020.

Beginning Thursday, Oct. 15, Arcadia will hold its final Farmer’s Market for the season from 5 to 8 p.m. on North West Street. The festival will be complete with food trucks, vendors and the Arcadia Mural Reveal to begin at 6 p.m.

Beginning at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 16, a family-friendly outdoor movie on South Washington Street will be shown, pumpkins will be given away, music will be provided by Commander Ken, and food and snacks will be available for purchase.

The Arcadia Fall Festival will finish up on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., on Main Street and South Washington Street near The Remnant Coffee Shop. You can expect to see many vendor booths, food trucks, classic cars, Cushman scooters, live music and more.

“This is the first year for the Fall Festival and we are partnering with the Remnant Coffee Shop,” Arcadia Clerk-Treasurer Jennifer Pickett said. “This will be a fun time for kids during their fall break. We welcome everyone to come out and participate whether it’s shopping, watching the outdoor movie, getting your free pumpkin, fill up on great food and drinks or just to experience our small town having a great time.”
