Former Indiana State Representative and current Hamilton County Clerk Kathy Williams recently presented former Hamilton County Parks Directo Al Patterson with a certificate from Governor Eric Holcomb and the State of Indiana, recognizing Patterson as a Sagamore of the Wabash, an honor reserved for a select group of individuals who have rendered distinguished service and contributed greatly to Indiana’s Hoosier heritage. The Sagamore of the Wabash recognition was presented to Patterson during a ceremony that honored his contributions made while serving as director of Hamilton County Parks and Recreation for nearly 28 years.
