New fieldhouse for Carmel Dads Club will soon be built

An architect’s sketch shows the appearance of the new Carmel Dads Club fieldhouse, which will be under construction this fall. The project is being financed by the Clay Township administration as part of its 19-part Community Impact program, according to Matt Snyder, township board member. The 120,000 square-foot fieldhouse, to be located in Badger Memorial Park, will permit year-round athletic practice and competition. Use by the public will also be provided. A name for the fieldhouse has not been selected. (The name on the rendering is only for illustration.)
