Noblesville’s Kenny Cook part of three-way tie for first at Northern Open

Noblesville’s Kenny Cook was part of a three-way tie for first place at the Indiana PGA Northern Open, which took place Monday at Delaware Country Club in Muncie.
Cook shared the championship with Connersville’s John Gordon and West Lafayette’s Cole Bradley; all of them shot a three-under par 67 in the one-round tournament. Cook had six birdies in his round.
Ty Gingerich of Russiaville, a Guerin Catholic graduate, tied for sixth place with a one-under 69. Gingerich, now playing at the University of Cincinnati, made four birdies.
Carmel’s Daven Bhagar made an eagle on hole No. 3; he finished tied for 26th with a score of 72.

Two county duos played in the Girls Team Championship, which took place Monday at Hillview Country Club in Franklin.
Carmel’s Averie Reiter and Westfield Brette Hanavan tied for fifth with an 81, while Noblesville’s Bella Deibel and Taylor Caldwell finished seventh with an 83.
