Drive-in movies making a comeback

Last weekend, Wafford Theater conducted Drive-In Movie Night at the Hamilton County Fairgrounds. Event organizer Jim Wafford said nearly 300 vehicles attended the first-ever event.

Wafford will again be conducting the event at 9 p.m. this Saturday, featuring the movie Toy Story 4. Attendees can view the movie from their vehicles or bring blankets and lawn chairs to watch from a large area in front of two movie screens. The event is free to the public; however, organizers are seeking donations to help offset the cost and volunteers to assist with parking.

The Hamilton County Fairgrounds is located at 2003 Pleasant St., Noblesville.
