Westfield Washington Schools (WWS) tragically lost one of their bus drivers, Alice Chamblin, last week in a fatal hit and run accident.
On Thursday, WWS bus drivers honored Chamblin by driving her elementary bus route together.
The district issued a statement that said, “We know that Miss Alice impacted many students district-wide as she drove routes to and from school, and she also drove for many of our WWS sports events in the evenings.”
Bus No. 73 will be parked at the Chatham Hills Clubhouse and remain there until noon today so that families and individuals who wish to leave notes, cards, or other tributes to Miss Alice may do so privately.
