Carmel’s Meet Me on Main goes virtual Saturday

The Carmel Arts & Design District goes LIVE at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. Five local artists will “go live” on Carmel’s social media platforms to answer audience questions and to showcase their craftsmanship. Guest appearances include Indiana Artisan, Art on Main Gallery & Gifts, Xchocol’Art and the CCA Gallery & Gifts.

The Art Lab invites you to get crafty. Find your markers, white paper and glue stick and join at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9 to make handprint superheroes. Display your super hero in a window all week long as part of the Carmel Cares initiative. The Art Lab is now located at The Cat Theater (254 Veterans Way).

  • Winners will be announced at 6:15 p.m. on Saturday, May 9.

CCA Gallery & Gifts features its talented print artist, David O’Dell. On Saturday, May 9, O’Dell will showcase his Indy 500 Limited Edition Silk Screen prints. (111 W. Main St. #135)

Indiana Artisan has four artists showcased during today’s virtual event. Artist Gabriel Lehman and potter, Rebecca Lowery will be live at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 9. Tune in during the weekday at 5 p.m. for special premiers from Dave Lee (glass artist), Pam Newell (oil painter) and Director of Indiana Artisan, Rosalyn Demaree. (22 N. Range Line Road)

Carmel Art on Main Gallery will feature oil painter, Debbie Slack. Debbie will go live on Saturday, May 9 and will show off her one-of-a-kind art. (111 W. Main St. #140)

The Indiana Design Center provides a virtual tour inside the Rusted Window, Jack Laurie Home Floor Designs and Drapery Street. Follow the City’s social media platforms to watch the premiere. (200 S. Range Line Road).
