Dr. Juan Jaramillo, an experienced psychiatrist, has joined the behavioral health team at Aspire Indiana Health.
Dr. Jaramillo will be seeing adult patients in Aspire’s Indianapolis and Lebanon clinics once pandemic restrictions lift, providing psychiatric medication management and evaluation via telehealth video appointment for now. He is also available for patients who prefer to receive services in Spanish.
A native of Colombia Jaramillo completed his medical degree at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana and emigrated to the United States in 1992. He completed his psychiatric residency training at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York. In addition, Dr. Jaramillo completed a Fellowship in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry and has done additional training in the field of Child Psychiatry.
Previously, Jaramillo held the title of Assistant Professor at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, which included coverage at Regional One Hospital and consultation services to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He also served as Assistant Medical Director at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, Ky., where he covered both inpatient and outpatient services, and provided consultation services to the general hospital.
