The REPORTER

Firefighters in Carmel say they know there’s a lot of time right now parents are trying to fill at home. Helping out, the Carmel Fire Department will hold a coloring contest with some really unique and special prizes for winners. The department has different pictures you can choose from; however, there is no limit on the number of submissions, so print off and color away between now and March 27.

Pictures you can color are included at this link under coloring pages. You’ll have to print them out.

Contest rules

To be entered in the official contest, you must:

1) Like the CFD Facebook page (for updates and other information/correspondence)

2) Submit artwork by commenting below a picture of each of your entries separately. Be sure you’re replying on CFD’s original post, not a shared post. DO NOT BRING THEM TO ANY OF THE STATIONS.

3) Include your child’s first name and age on each entry.

The preliminary judging will narrow the submissions down within each age category (3 and below, 4-5, 6-7, 8-9, and 10 and up including adults). Starting March 28, a public voting period to decide the top winners will be conducted.

If you have a talented artist who would like to create their own drawing/coloring with a CFD/fire safety theme, firefighters encourage you to please submit them.
