Hamilton County girls golf teams continued their busy schedules Wednesday by playing in the Zionsville Invitational, which took place at the Golf Club of Indiana.
The No. 3-ranked Eagles won their own tournament, shooting a 307. Second-ranked Westfield, the first of five county teams, was a close second by scoring 309. No. 7 Carmel placed third, sixth-rated Fishers was fourth, 10th-ranked HSE finished fifth and Guerin Catholic came in ninth.
The Shamrocks had two players finish in the top five. Cailyn Henderson placed second with a 74, while Jocelyn Bruch tied for fourth with a 77.
Erin Evans led the Greyhounds with a 79, while Morgan Lewis was Fishers’ low woman with an 80. Chelsea Morrow led the Royals by scoring 79.
Gabby Gilrowski had a nice day for the Golden Eagles, tying for fourth with a 77.
