The Noblesville Fire Department recently promoted four officers. The ceremony, also known as a Pinning Ceremony, is the traditional way in which a firefighter receives his or her new badge and rank.
Firefighter Scott Hunter was promoted to Lieutenant. He has assumed the role of Lieutenant of A-Crew at Station 75. Lieutenant Uriah Eddingfield was promoted to Captain. Eddingfield will now be the Station Captain at Station 73 on A-Crew. Captain Trevor Hash was promoted to Division Chief. He will continue to work at Station 71. Captain Mike Cummins was promoted to Battalion Chief. He will now be the highest-ranking officer for A-Crew. He will also work at Station 71.
Each of these four men had a ceremony at their station to celebrate their promotions.
“It is always a great day when we get to promote deserving people,” said Fire Chief Matt Mitchell. “We are excited to have these four officers promoted to positions where they can continue their excellent service to our community.”
