Four Hamilton County girls basketball players are among the 15 seniors and 15 underclass players to earn IBCA/Subway “Supreme 15” All-State honors for the 2019-2020 season.

Hamilton Southeastern’s Sydney Parrish was named to the senior Supreme 15 list. On the underclass list, Fishers junior Katie Burton, Carmel sophomore Kate Clarke and Noblesville freshman Ashlynn Shade were all named to that group’s Supreme 15.

The IBCA also named Large School All-State teams (15 seniors, 15 underclass) and Small School All-State players (15 seniors, 15 underclass).

University’s Lindsey Syrek was named to the senior Small School All-State list, while Westfield sophomore Alyssa Crockett and Carmel junior Bridget Dunn were named to the underclass Large School All-State group.

The “Supreme 15” is the top honor awarded, and players were voted to that group without regard to school size. The Large School and Small School all-state teams are secondary accolades — the Large School group including players from Class 3A and Class 4A schools and the Small School group including players from Class A and Class 2A schools. Players who make the Supreme 15 are not considered for Large School or Small School honors.

In addition, 87 more seniors and 92 more underclass players were selected honorable mention all-state. The honorable mention laurels are awarded without regard to school size.

Hamilton County seniors on the Honorable Mention list are Westfield’s Ava Henson, Hamilton Southeastern’s Jackie Maulucci and University’s Maddi Sears. County underclass players named as Honorable Mention are University freshman Kelsey DuBois and Hamilton Heights junior Jillian Osswald.
