On Wednesday morning, Jackson Township Fire Department was dispatched to the 4000 block of East 236th Street on report of a residence fire.
Firefighters encountered heavy smoke and the fire was showing. They conducted a search, along with a quick interior fire attack. No victims were found and no injuries were incurred on scene.
Jackson Fire was assisted by Westfield Fire Department, Noblesville Fire Department, Sheridan Fire Department, Cicero Fire Department, White River Volunteer Fire Department, Cicero Township Fire Department and Kempton Volunteer Fire Department.
