HSE picks up 9th straight win

Hamilton Southeastern traveled to Homestead for a Saturday afternoon game, and came home with a 59-43 victory, running its win streak to nine games.
The Royals had a solid start, leading 16-8 after the first quarter, and outscored the Spartans in each of the four periods. Southeastern led 30-19 at halftime and 44-31 after three quarters.
Mabor Majak led the way with a double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds. Vinny Buccilla contributed 11 points and four assists, while Kole Hornbuckle added 10 points and dished out five assists. Royals coach Brian Satterfield said that great team defense and balanced scoring led his team to the victory.
Southeastern is 13-5 and will play another road game Tuesday at New Castle.
