The Indiana Young Birders Club and the Indiana Audubon Society is hosting the 5th Indiana Young Birders Conference on Aug. 19 at the Cool Creek Nature Center in Carmel.
The Indiana Young Birders Conference is an all-day event that is almost entirely planned and hosted by young birders/naturalists from Indiana and surrounding states. Some highlights of the conference include: Urban Bird Conservation (Keynote), Birding Ecuador, Protecting Habitat (Nature Conservancy), a Smart Phone Nature Photography Contest, Venus Flytrap Feeding, Snakes of Brown County and more!
Registration fees are $20 for adults 19 and up, $10 for Young Birders/Naturalists between 12 and 18 and free for Fledglings under 12. Registration for the day includes lunch catered by Moe’s Southwest Grill.
