Indiana’s club swimming championship is underway, beginning with the Senior State Meet, which took place last weekend at Purdue University.
To one’s surprise, the Carmel Swim Club had a dominant tournament in the Boilermaker’s aquatic center. Carmel’s relays led the way, with the men’s 800 freestyle team of Wyatt Davis, Jake Mitchell, Andrew Couchon, Drew Kibler winning that race. Also, the women’s 400 freestyle relay team of Trude Rothrock, Rachel Hayden, Emma Nordin, Kelly Pash finished first in that event.
Swimmers from all of the major Hamilton County clubs competed, with every one of them notching at least one top 32 finish. A partial listing is below; the remaining results will be published in Thursday’s edition of the Reporter.
