‘Rocks beat Mount Vernon, stay unbeaten

Westfield continued its undefeated season on Tuesday, beating Mount Vernon 46-41 at The Rock.
The Shamrocks led 13-7 after the first quarter and 21-16 at halftime. The Marauders stayed close, as they were within 32-28 after three quarters. But Westfield was able to control the game and get the win.
Three Shamrocks finished in double figures: Nic Depasquale led with 16 points, followed by Braden Smith with 14 and Cam Haffner with 10. Saaki Vishnumolakala led the rebounds with five.
Westfield is 8-0 for the season and plays another home game Saturday against Carmel.
