The Hamilton Heights swimming teams split their Senior Night meets with Oak Hill on Monday.
The Huskies girls won 109-76 with seven event wins. Tara Holder took the 200 and 500 freestyles, staying undefeated for the year. Holder was also part of the winning medley and 400 free relays. Cylie Starr joined Holder on both relays; Kennedy Weaver and Maria Mitchell also swam on the medley, with Ryleigh Poe and Mady Hutcherson also competing on the 400 free relay.
Weaver and Mitchell swam on the first-place 200 free relay as well, along with Carlie Flintoff and Kat Cox. Hutcherson won the 100 free and Flintoff paced the backstroke.
Heights’ boys team lost 103-72, but won six events. Eli VanHaaren, Joe Ringer, Grant Forrer and Josh Snay teamed up to take the medley and 400 free relays. Ringer and VanHaaren were also double individual winners, with VanHaaren first in the individual medley and butterfly and Ringer winning the 50 and 100 freestyles.
