Kim Good announces bid for County Treasurer

On Monday, Kim Good, Cicero, announced her candidacy for Hamilton County Treasurer. The current Chief Deputy Treasurer is seeking the position she previously held from 2005 through 2012.

“With over 30 years’ experience and a real passion for the job, I am uniquely qualified to manage and improve upon a legacy of accurate and conscientious customer service,” Good said.

A lifelong resident of Hamilton County, Good became chief deputy treasurer for the current Treasurer, Jennifer Templeton, in 2013. She previously held the position for five years prior to her election in 2004.

Good said one of her goals is to maximize investment returns.

“Public funds investing can realize big results while staying within the parameters of safety, liquidity and yields,” Good added.

Good, along with her husband of 30 years, Bryan, have two adult children and one grandchild. She is a graduate of Noblesville High School, a Cicero Kiwanis member and enjoys supporting youth athletics in the Hamilton Heights area.
