NCL Crossroads Chapter offering scholarship for female high school senior pursing higher education

The Crossroads Chapter of National Charity League (NCL) is offering a $500 scholarship to a female high school senior who has shown consistent involvement in community service and leadership. Applicants will have until Feb. 15 to apply. The winner will be notified in in March.

“This scholarship allows us to recognize a young woman in our community who has shown she values community service, leadership and cultural experiences just like we do at NCL,” said Kim Harvey, president of the Crossroads Chapter. “We were so impressed by the caliber of the young women who applied last year and we’re excited to be able to offer the scholarship again this year.”

Key facts about the scholarship

  • The scholarship is a one-time, non-renewable scholarship for female high school seniors who reside in Boone or Hamilton counties.
  • Applicants may not be involved in NCL or have an immediate family member who is an NCL member.
  • Applicants must be pursuing a post-secondary school education.
  • The scholarship award is $500. It will be payable directly to the winner’s college/university.
  • Deadline: Feb. 15.
