Huskies win at Western, are 2-0 in conference

Hamilton Heights picked up a Hoosier Conference win at Western on Friday, by the score of 66-55.
The Huskies led 20-14 at the end of the first quarter, with Gus Etchison scoring 10 points and Camron Knott adding seven. Heights led 30-24 at halftime, then slowly extended its lead in the second half. Etchison had 14 points in that half, while Brent Pennington drained three 3-pointers, scoring all 12 of his points in the second half.
Etchison finished the game with 28 points, including an 8-of-9 effort from the free-throw line. He also collected five rebounds. Knott totaled nine points and Luke Carroll scored eight.
The Huskies are 2-0 in the Hoosier Conference East Division and tied for first place with Tipton. Heights is 5-2 overall and hosts Noblesville tonight.
