Joanne Ruth (Tranter) Miller, 75, Noblesville, passed away December 13, 2019. She was born in South Heights, Pa., on June 1, 1944, daughter of Alvin and Garnett (DeLong) Tranter.
Joanne was an active member of the New Hope Presbyterian Church for the past four years after moving from the southwest side of Indianapolis to Noblesville.
In addition to her parents, Joanne was preceded in death by her brother, Ronald Tranter and sister, Norma Jean Colangelo.
Survivors include her beloved husband of 56 years, Larry Miller; children, Robert (Paige) Miller, Carmel, Roxanne (Don) Bell, Indianapolis; siblings, Rebecca (Bill) Nestor, Linda (Frank) Martin and Sam (Sue) Tranter; grandchildren, Christopher Jackson, Heather Jackson, Bronson Rago, Josh Bell, Alicia Ownbey, Deana Dennison-Bell and Rich Bell; 11 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
Calling will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2019 with an additional calling at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019, with the funeral service immediately following at 11 a.m., all at New Hope Presbyterian Church, 12550 Brooks School Road, Fishers.
