Carmel girls drop close MIC game

The Carmel girls basketball team lost a close Metropolitan Conference game on Friday, falling to Warren Central 43-42 at the Eric Clark Activity Center.
The Greyhounds got out to a 15-9 lead after the first quarter, then were up 24-17 at halftime. But the Warriors stayed with Carmel in the third period, and outscored the ‘Hounds 12-6 in the fourth to get the win.
Bridget Dunn scored 12 points for Carmel, with Kate Clarke adding 10 points.
The Greyhounds are 0-2 in MIC play and 3-5 overall. Carmel hosts Westfield on Tuesday.
