The Hamilton Heights swim teams scored a sweep of Eastern in a Tuesday dual meet.
The Huskies girls won 125-58, remaining undefeated for the season.
“The girls team had some very strong swims in all events but especially in the 50 free and the 100 free where they placed first, second and third,” said Heights coach Sue Beale.
Cylie Starr won the 50 freestyle, with Mady Hutcherson placing second and Maria Mitchell taking third. In the 100 free, Tara Holder was first in that event, followed by Hutcherson in second and Kat Cox in third.
Other individual victories were Ryleigh Poe in the 200 free and butterfly, Starr in the breaststroke and Holder in the IM. In the relays, Holder, Starr, Hutcherson and Poe were first in the medley and 400 free relays, while Kennedy Weaver, Cox, Carlie Flintoff and Mitchell won the 200 free relay.
In the boys meet, Heights won 92-81 for its first dual win of the season. The Huskies won nine of the 12 events.
The group of Eli VanHaaren, Josh Snay, Grant Forrer and Joe Ringer teamed to win the medley and 400 free relays. Each swimmer also won individual events: Ringer was first in the 200 and 100 freestyles, Snay paced the 50 free and breaststroke, Forrer was first in the 500 free and VanHaaren won the butterfly and backstroke.
