Sheridan got a big road win on Tuesday, beating Frankfort 57-28 at the Hot Dogs’ Case Arena.
The Blackhawks led 14-6 after the first quarter and 27-12 at halftime. Sheridan then ran away with the game in the third period, outscoring Frankfort 23-2.
Katy Crail led a very balanced scoring effort for the ‘Hawks with 12 points. Lillie Dickerson added nine points; 10 different Sheridan players scored at least two points. Taylor Bates dominated the boards with 10 rebounds, and nearly reached a double-double with eight points. Allie Delph dished out four assists.
The Blackhawks are 4-4 and continue their road stretch Friday at Clinton Prairie. It will be a Hoosier Heartland Conference doubleheader, with the girls playing at 6 p.m. and the boys playing afterwards.
