Guerin Catholic picked up its first win of the season on Saturday, cruising past Manual 63-29 at the Eagles Nest.
The Golden Eagles led 24-16 at halftime, then put the game away in the third quarter, outscoring Manual 17-2. Bernie McGuinness scored seven points in that period, on his way to a game-high 19 points.
Joseph Bobilya was next in line for Guerin Catholic with 11 points. Bobilya had three 3-pointers in the game, including two in the first quarter.
The Golden Eagles are 1-1 and host Roncalli on Friday to open Circle City Conference play.
