Millers drop tough one at Columbus East

Noblesville lost a tough game at Columbus East on Saturday, falling 43-42.
The Olympians led 11-6 after the first quarter. The Millers cut that lead to 20-17 by halftime, with Evan Wilson scoring eight points in the second period, including a pair of 3-pointers.
Columbus East was ahead 30-26 after three quarters. Noblesville scored 16 points in the fourth, with four different players hitting a 3-pointer, but the Olympians held on.
Wilson finished with 11 points. Jordan Gadis drained two 3s on his way to 10 points, while Noah Harris added nine.
The Millers are 1-1 and play at Fishers on Friday to begin Hoosier Crossroads Conference action.
