Wreath auction will benefit Cicero Library

Have you seen the beautifully decorated wreaths on display at the Cicero Library?

These Christmas wreaths were designed by local patrons, businesses and organizations for the annual HNPL Friends of the Library Silent Wreath Auction, which raises money for library programs, such as winter and summer reading. This year’s proceeds will go toward appliances for the Cicero Library’s new meeting room.

The public is invited to bid on wreaths during business hours now through Saturday, Dec. 7. At 4 p.m. on Dec. 7, the wreaths will be transferred downtown to the Our Town Cicero Tree Lighting Festival, where bidding will conclude at 7 p.m.

Anyone interested in donating a wreath for this fundraising auction may simply bring a nicely decorated wreath to the Library before Dec. 7.
