Millers overwhelm Snider for home win

Noblesville celebrated the legacy of Krissi Davis and Courtney Cox Cole in the best way possible on Saturday – with a win.
The Millers played their first home game of the season that evening, and beat Fort Wayne Snider 70-31. Noblesville outscored the Panthers in all four quarters, and were ahead 25-8 after the first period and 42-16 at halftime.
Freshman Ashlynn Shade poured in 23 points, including three 3-pointers, and also grabbed seven rebounds and handed out five assists. Mallory Miller added 12 points, including a pair of 3s. The Millers totaled 42 rebounds, with Dani Mendez collecting six, and Abby Haley, Anna Kiser and Makenna Mundy all getting five. Haley also handed out six assists, while Kiser blocked two shots.
Noblesville is 1-1 and will host Northwestern on Tuesday.
