Elda Whitenight, 89, Fishers, passed away on Monday, October 28, 2019 at Community Hospital North in Indianapolis. She was born on April 7, 1930 in Bloomsburg, Pa.
Elda was a 1948 graduate of Benton High School. She was a clerical worker for over 20 years and “mothered” many people throughout her career. Elda loved nature, going on walks and birdwatching. She was a very friendly lady and her friends were very important to her. Most of all, Elda loved her family.
She is survived by her daughter, Lacinda (John) Hobbs; and her grandson, Tyler Hobbs. Elda was preceded in death by her father, Fred Pealer; mother, Leah (Hartman) Hidlay; brother, Keith Pealer; and sister, Sceva Laubach.
Services will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at Randall & Roberts Fishers Mortuary, 12010 Allisonville Road, Fishers, with visitation from 5 p.m. to the time of service.
