Leading into Domestic Violence Awareness month, Brittany Winebar (left) of Prevail Inc. presented the Hero of the Month Award for September to Hamilton County Prosecuting Attorney Rachel Jefferson (right).
A Prevail Hero is someone who goes above and beyond in response to survivors of crime or abuse in our community.
Rachel is a tremendous asset. She is honest, patient, straightforward and approachable. Rachel is able to navigate uncertainty and ensure that the decisions she makes consider all voices, including those of youth. She is willing to meet families at Prevail, follow up on questions, and collaborate at each step of the way. Prevail is appreciative of her willingness to team up and provide excellent service.
